More information on apron feeder
IEM makes high-performance apron feeders capable of handling abrasive bulk materials like coal, sand, gravel, metals, and ores. Our apron feeders are designed to withstand the impact of heavy materials falling from a height, which makes them well-suited for mining/quarrying operations.
IEM’s apron feeders allow the feeding of hot materials and sharp, lumpy bulk matter at controlled rates. We offer apron feeders of varying lengths, which are designed to allow control over feed rate and thereby prevent excessive surge loads on equipment such as belt conveyors and crushers.
IEM offers the widest range of apron feeders for use in heavy-duty installations. Our apron feeders can be installed under a hopper or bin, and they support dumping by truck, bulldozer, shovel and dragline. We build apron feeders with large-diameter head shafts and tail shafts with sealed, dust-resistant roller bearings for both the head and tail shaft. Additionally, our apron feeders have fabricated support frames that give strength to the overall construction, and they are mounted on a sturdy carriage made out of heavy-duty crawlers, tractor rollers and chains.
Owing to their rugged design and high-quality components, IEM’s apron feeders require very little maintenance even under heavy use. Designed for operational efficiency, IEM’s apron feeders have reversing capability for ease of unblocking the hopper. Additionally, for safety and protection, they have nip point guards running down the sides and tail. The apron feeders’ construction allows for easy on-site repair and facilitates centralized lubrication. Suited for diverse types of applications, IEM’s apron feeders can offer any capacity.
As a company, we strive to offer high-performance material handling solutions based on the requirements of the application. We deliver apron feeders that are sturdy, durable and cost-efficient in the long run. The strength of our product lies in the expertise of our technical staff, which is committed to providing the best equipment and excellent service.
We understand that “one size doesn’t fit all” when it comes to material handling solutions, which is why we offer customized apron feeders. Our engineers and managers collaborate with the client to acquire full understanding of the project’s requirements. Plus, by leveraging the exceptional abilities of our design team and fabrication technicians, we can ensure the timely delivery of customized material handling solutions.
When designing apron feeders, we take into account factors such as the nature of the bulk material, the type of application, and the condition of operating environment. Our designs are subjected to numerous tests before being finalized for fabrication. In addition, we have a complete range of in-house processes to facilitate the precision fabrication of apron feeders.
IEM has an extensive facility for the custom manufacturing apron feeders. Our service covers everything from design to installation, along with our material handling solutions. We work to turn our clients’ drawings and ideas into a reality. We understand that we are here to provide our “detailed knowledge” and years of collective experience. We have the ability to facilitate all materials, and we always work in partnership with our clients to provide the best service in the industry.
